Paul Totman the Partner at Rise 4 Disability said: “We’ve been big fans of the phenomenally successful Grumpy Gits podcast for some time, so it makes perfect sense for us to sponsor them.
We love how the podcast manages to inform and entertain, while at the same time tackling difficult issues and championing disability rights. We’re very excited to be working with The Grumpy Gits to create an event like no other with its focus solely on people with lived experience of disability and disability adjacent.
Through our shared vision and ethos our goal is to create an event that will increase awareness, create unity and promote diversity regardless of ability.
Disability Expo is a free to attend event that will be held at the ExCeL in London on July 6th & 7th.
Duncan Casburn said: We are really excited to be working with Disability Expo, they have some fantastic ideas for London ExCeL and have 25 years of experience working in the disability sector. The Grumpy Gits will be doing two live shows at the event and it’s always great performing in front of a live audience.
